Credibility and visa interview preparation
Choose your country, read the questions and practise your answers.
United Kingdom · Student visa
Many universities hold a credibility interview, and UKVI may also interview you. Know your course, university and funding well.
- Why did you choose to study in United Kingdom rather than at home?
- Why did you choose this university and this course?
- How does this course connect to your past studies or work?
- Tell me about the modules you will study.
- How will you pay for your tuition and living costs?
- What are your plans after you finish?
Quick tips
- Answer honestly and in your own words.
- Keep answers short and clear.
- It is fine to pause and think, or ask for a question to be repeated.
- If you need an adjustment, such as extra time, ask in advance.
Practice guidance only. Rules change, so always check the official government and university websites. Answers are not saved.
